Making the Most of the Sunshine

The past few weeks have been rather hectic for me. I cleared out, packed up, tidied and cleaned my student flat, waved farewell to Dundee (*sob sob*) and moved home, where I’ve been tripping over boxes and procrastinating for about a fortnight.

After much rain (and even some flooding) in the area, the sun was a welcome sight here in Gairloch today, so I made the most of it before it disappears again! I liberated my easel (which hasn’t seen the light of day in far too long) from the dusty depths of the garage and sat out in the garden with my sketchbook and some watercolours.

I realised that it’s been over a month since I even lifted a paintbrush, so it was nice to get back into the swing of things – long may it continue!
